Morning Dew
Aug. 27, 1972
Old Renaissance Faire Grounds

Sure it's only a tease that's aborted for El Paso, but it's Veneta, so it has to be the best!

High energy. Part of a very underrated show.

Melodic and intense, by far my favorite space melts into Stella. Very underrated show.

Morning Dew
July 12, 1987
Giants Stadium

Jerry ripcords his own solo in this one. LOL.
Goin' Down The Road Feelin' Bad
March 24, 1993
Dean Smith Center

This set had a nice 70s feel up to this point - HCS, Playin, Box of Rain, Crazy Fingers, Spanish Jam, GDTRFB ... then thud, Throwing crashed it right in the middle of 80s/90s Bobby cheesiness. The set would have been better with just an extended NFA instead of Throw > Away (or, better yet, a throwback NFA > GDTRFB > NFA) there.
The Other One
Oct. 20, 1989
The Spectrum

This wasn't the night after the earthquake. The EQ was on the 17th, in between East Rutherford and Philly. It was also right after fall break at my college, and one of my buddies went home to SF and couldn't get his flight out on the 18th. We went to the show on the 18th without him and then he showed up at set break on the 19th.
Scarlet Begonias -> Fire On The Mountain
Oct. 20, 1989
The Spectrum

If only they didn't screw up every verse of Fire, LOL.
Visions of Johanna
July 8, 1995
Soldier Field

One of the reasons "on this night Jerry had no problem remembering all the lyrics to visions of Johanna" is that they were using teleprompters in 1995.
