One of the more languid takes on this one. Although Jerry's voice is shot, it works. Notable for 2 runs through the solo, both of them stellar.

Explosive jam makes this one a bit unique. Not as smooth and complex as some later versions, but synergy and chops by all.

Smokes from head to tail. No SBD, or this would be top 5 with ease.

I fully expect this one to rise in popularity once the BBD arrives.

Nice AUD has Jerry up front. Great solo in SB, transition is interesting, with nice cascading riffs, followed by a Hot FOTM.

Way too sloppy for me. Jerrys solo in SB is only two sloppy verses. It has some good moments, (that little funk Jam mentioned being one) but they are all too brief. That Train Wreck at about 5:00 in FOTM is one of the worst I can think of in the post retirement era.

Bunk version.com..... I bet Cornell would top the list there as well. I see your point. Here we have Shows/versions that don't exist, mundane to awful entries, out of whack ratings. Why?in some part, attendance bias, nostalgia, mob mentality, inability to be objective, prejudice, etc. Plus, wall of text format. I was at this show, I can't recall anything special about it.

Jerry plays a real nice, long solo in SB, the transition has the band blazing, the fire features a few screaming jams. One of the more solid versions from summer 83. Certainly not the BOAT, but it's better than scads of versions already listed, IMO.

Really hot solo in the Scarlet, and the closing jam of Fire is pretty scalding. The rest is a mixed bag.
