One of the more languid takes on this one. Although Jerry's voice is shot, it works. Notable for 2 runs through the solo, both of them stellar.

Explosive jam makes this one a bit unique. Not as smooth and complex as some later versions, but synergy and chops by all.

Smokes from head to tail. No SBD, or this would be top 5 with ease.

I fully expect this one to rise in popularity once the BBD arrives.

Nice AUD has Jerry up front. Great solo in SB, transition is interesting, with nice cascading riffs, followed by a Hot FOTM.

You're being too kind. Average at best. Well below, IMO. Jerry may shine a bit, but the band is sloppy and lethargic. Beyond me how this one rates so highly, Is DP6 (10/14/83) hard to find? Cue them up back to back and see if you think this is better.

Scarlet Begonias has an odd one-time only flub... Jerry sings the fifth verse AFTER the solo break, and kind of throws them off. The FOTM fares better.

Yeah, Fatman is on fire here. Give it a spin.

Gorgeous tone and execution. Pristine SBD, too. Agree that certain shows get a bloated reputation to the detriment of others. I wish there was a board of 7/16/72 because Jerry is evidently on fire, but the tape leaves a lot to be desired.

The Scarlet Begonias bridge solo is one of the finest you'll hear. Otherwise a solid but average reading of the combo.
