Samson and Delilah
May 15, 1977
St. Louis Arena
In the intro, Jerry briefly turns on the Mutron, which is highly unusual for this song. But awesome nonetheless.
Bertha
May 13, 1977
Auditorium Theatre
Should be way higher, this version is super tight and the playing, including Jerry's solo, is top notch. Not a stretch to say this is one the highlights of the entire show.
Jack Straw
May 12, 1977
Auditorium Theatre
This is a phenomenal version. Vocals are near-perfect, tempo starts a little slow but slowly picks up. Jerry's second solo is a thing of beauty.
Eyes Of The World
May 7, 1977
Boston Garden
This show gets a lot of hype, and for good reason - it's great across the board. However, this might be the highlight of the show. Song is taken a pretty fast tempo and Jerry absolutely brings the heat in the beginning solo.
Sugaree
May 5, 1977
New Haven Coliseum
This one doesn't have the extended rapid fire playing of 5/28 or 5/22, but I think it's more patient, musical, and eventually when Jerry does finally start letting it rip, it's absolutely incredible.
