They Love Each Other

Hampton Coliseum

This is a CRAZY, trippy version! Jerry is INCREDIBLE on this one...so much so that some of the band loses it's place and somehow makes it work.

Particularly smoking version, everyone is firing on all cylinders, Bobby's vocal is great, Brent is fantastic, Jerry, Bob, Phil, etc...

Greatest Story Ever Told
Sept. 10, 1972
Hollywood Palladium

This is a real great version with a real nice guitar solo/jam. Just heard it for the first time and made a special trip over here just to vote it up!
Ramble On Rose
March 9, 1981
Madison Square Garden

This is an OUTSTANDING "Ramble On Rose", which was ALWAYS better when it was played in NYC. Seeing "Ramble On Rose" at the Garden was always extra-special, and this version really captures that, especially on this Matrix: http://www.archive.org/details/gd1981-03-09.mtx.seamons.101159.flac24 Outstanding version in a super-hot first set.
Cosmic Charlie
June 19, 1976
Capitol Theatre

Holy shit, PERFECTION. A song that rarley had a "perfect" version, this one is PERFECT. Comes out of an excellent Let It Grow->Dancing In The Street, so definitely hear it in the full sequence. An absolutely incredible version.
Black Peter
Aug. 25, 1972
Berkeley Community Theatre

This is a fantastic "Black Peter". The other comments are correct: Jerry sings this one right on point. The crowd is into it also. You know this "Black Peter" is great before Jerry even sings, it just immediately has a vibe. The "El Paso" before it is excellent as well, and I have no doubt the rest of the show is going to be as great; it's the end of a run in Berkeley....and it's the show BEFORE Kessey's farm so............they didn't play "Black Peter" at Kessey's farm, so consider this the closest thing to it! ;)
The Other One
Aug. 20, 1972
San Jose Civic Auditorium

Unbeievable version of "The Other One" that goes into some absolutely terrifying places. The audience patch strangly only adds to the mysterious quality. Jerry plays licks on this (and the Truckin' that precedes it) that are only from this date, or this era, almost Clarence White-type stuff. Fantastic fantastic version. Jaw-dropping. Definitely shocked to see it listed so low.
