There are some great ones. 4/24/78 and 5/9/77 which are 1 and 2 here, but this one is still tops imo- like almost every other song version from Englishtown. There's a twangyness and airiness to the show that makes it recognizable like no other show they ever played. Two notes from this show and I could pick it out. Something about it. Like Mary.

This is a tough song to pick a best of... I can understand people picking 10/21/78 because of the ending jam, but this one just has something about it. Haunting atmosheric-ness to it. Killer intro after the 2nd best Iko IMO (9/2/80- and I NEVER say much is better post-Keith)- the singing is some of the best Jerry ever and the extra oooo to the last Stella Blue-oooooo is just killer.

I'm not a post-Keith era anything's better, but this one is just sick. Not a wasted note. Not the longest version (I wish it went as long as Cornell, which to me is way over-rated... I know sacrilege), but the best peaks and valley buildups with serious intensity. I'm not the biggest Brent guy- but his organ steps up the intensity. My old audience version sounds so much better than the DP board filler, which to me takes away from the "crackling with energy, element. Capital Theater 4/27/77 is 2nd best and that's hard to say. Cornell... eh. longer, but not better.

Another shocker here. #1 version like almost every version of songs from Englishtown.

I cannot believe this one didn't even make the list. Shocked. Simply shocked.
