Such a laid back, strong, version, chugging a little like a 1970 Casey Jones, Feels like they are leading up to the Buffalo interpretation here.

Well, listened again on the Get Shown the Light, and hey I still think this version is a winner - a masterful demonstration of relaxed and in-control Dead. Finding the sweetness and the melody - Jerry gets it on first gently, then forcefully. No hurry here, but plenty of funk, and maybe they know that there's more to come.
