Grateful Dead - He's Gone
Below you'll find a user-submitted list of the best Grateful Dead He's Gone.
1977 golden buttery version, DP 29 :)
Possibly the most gorgeously jammed version ever. Guaranteed Jerry's long, dreamy outtro will wisk you away on cloud 9
Band in full swing with incredible dynamics.
Greatness...Soul permeates...1973-Where It's At!
Wonderful, slow, well-sung and stays with you all day.
He's Gone -> The Other One -> Wharf Rat ; Beatiful transition into the other one
Poignant, purposeful version.
Uptempo, almost a shuffle, like the best of the '72s. High energy 1st set.
Seriously chilling and powerful version leading up to a climactic outro
Absolutely stunning version. Vocal interplay is just beautiful. Please give this one a shot!
Jam segment in this is incredible.
Wow. Everyone is on during this great show, bob's guitar really does it for me. Won't you give it a listen!?
The jam at the end is pure heaven. Sometimes referred to as a Caution Jam, but not really. The segue into a monster Other One Phil bomb is unrivaled.
Wow. Jerry and Donna improving and Jerry dancing in the stars with his solos. Awesome!
Perfect, self-contained, blues-infused, stellar vocals, 14+ minutes of bliss. Extra fun: Check out the "Birdsong" riff about 10 secs. into the intro
